Recently, I finished a course on content creation. What is content creation?
Content creation is generating topic ideas that appeal to your buyer persona, creating written or visual content around those ideas, and making that information accessible to your audience as a blog, video, infographic, or other content formats. It’s a foundational element of modern digital marketing efforts, involving research, strategic idea generation, crafting high-value collateral, and promoting it to a target audience. (per Brafton.com)For me, Zach Lee, I am creating a few areas of “content creation.” I, however, like to call it “entertainment.” What are these forms of entertainment?

The Class 🌮

This was my review of the TACO Training:
I sure do love me some tacos! And TACO class had me some delicious value!
The class was so full and rich, I don’t know where to start! But I must begin somewhere…
Session one talked about God’s calling and that God is a Creator. God created the beautiful world and called us to also create! It was a tremendous foundation for the rest of the sessions!
Every session dealt with something important to content creation (as it should) and every session left me wondering where I could improve in that topic that XN taught! Whether it was improving my character or music or live stream, I was always challenged and convicted to work harder and smarter. XN never talked about doing “all you can” as to burn yourself out, but the class was taught to achieve high standards in a healthy but striving manner. XN spoke in a challenging but loving conduct, always pushing but never being judgmental. “Just 1%,” he’d remind us. (You’ll have to take the class to find out what that means.)
I can’t tell you how much I wanted each session to go longer and longer and when the last session came, I dreaded it. Not because I had to be there but because it was coming to an end! I did not want this to end! It was a sad day when the last session was over.
Each week, we would review someone’s content from the class. And each week, as I did, I was connecting with people! I did review their content and it (hopefully) helped. But what I found interesting was that I was going back to their streams and content AFTER the review was over! Again, I was connecting with people! By the end, the class was vocal and we all enjoyed hanging out! That was fun!
Of course, it came to my turn to be reviewed and I was nervous but SUPER excited! I wanted to know what I did wrong and what could be improved upon! I mean, that’s the point of the class, right? As I sat through the reviews, I wanted to make excuses or say, “There’s no way I did that!” When in fact, I did.
XN taught on character and connecting with people. He taught about what makes a great creator, not what makes a great stream or song. We didn’t learn how to turn our cameras on or get Twitch working for us. (Although, he’d help us if we needed it.) We learned how to be great people who can help other people.
I’ve now got a better idea of how to serve the listener, viewer, or reader to make a connection and create real change in the world.Thank you, XtianNinja!
Why Does This Class Matter?
This means BIG things for the future. XtianNinja challenged us and didn’t judge us. He inspired us to be better at our craft. So that’s exactly what will happen here. Recently, I had a live stream and that only came about because I was convicted by the words that XtianNinja said. He mentioned that people talk but don’t always do. So… I did. I decided to just pick a date and do a livestream to get the entertainment moving forward!
Entertainment is now moving forward.
He challenged me that the newsletter was not coming out each week as I said.
Now, I am sending a newsletter edition each week. Not perfect, but getting better.
I believe that this class was “right on time” for the direction I sense God is taking me, this music, and this entertainment. God is working and I am humbled to be a tool in the Father’s hands.
You Can Definitely Pray for Me
Pray that I am always faithful to the calling of God in my life. Sometimes, I feel underqualified, or like my life isn’t “put together” and that I can’t do what God is calling me to. Pssh. God knows what He’s doing. Pray I remain faithful in all things.
Pray for my family. Pray that I can be a GREAT leader for my family, leading them to Jesus in all things.
Pray that I am the best husband and father for my family. I try and I try, and I hope I get it one day. Lol. God’s strength in me, I know I can. Thank you!
Pray for the music and pray for the writing process. It can be argued that the lyrics are the most important part of a song, and while you may disagree, please pray that the words I write are God’s words of truth and salvation, and bring all glory to God!
Pray for the task of learning tons of new music apps on the computer. It will take some time and tons of effort, but again, God calls, so I will listen and do as he says.
Pray for all those who read the newsletter, watch the live streams, and hear the future music. Pray God works on them to understand the grace and freedom in Him. Amen!
