What is Music?
music | ˈmyo͞ozik | noun 1 vocal or instrumental sounds (or both) combined in such a way as to produce beauty of form, harmony, and expression of emotion: couples were dancing to the music | baroque music. • the art or science of composing or performing music: he devoted his life to music. • a sound perceived as pleasingly harmonious: the background music of softly lapping water.
Well, Webster says music is beautiful. That means that whatever has the name Zach Lee on it shall also be beautiful.
There has been enough talk about what is GOING to happen, but what about the actual thing that will happen?!
That’s it. We’re doing it. We are MAKING MUSIC!

From this newsletter, as of late, I have been sharing things that don’t really matter. Things that have happened in life, but nothing to do with music. Let’s move on.

The Elevator Pitch
One thing I am working on is to introduce people to the music in a “sentence or two” as an elevator pitch. This allows me to quickly and precisely communicate what I do, why I do it, and encourages everyone to stick around and hang out and watch the magic. Here’s what I’m working on:

I’m an experienced musician following the call to bring hip-hop back to its roots; using my God-given creativity to make high quality music while telling captivating stories in the words. How You Can Pray For Me
Pray that I am always faithful to the calling of God on my life. Sometimes, I feel under qualified, or like my life isn’t “put together” that I can do what God is calling me to. Pssh. God knows what He’s doing. Pray I remain faithful in all things.
Pray for my family. Pray that I can be a GREAT leader for my family, leading them to Jesus in all things.
Pray that I am the best husband and father for my family. I try and I try, and I hope I get it one day. Lol. God’s strength in me, I know I can. Thank you!
Pray for the music and pray for the writing process. It can be argued that the lyrics are the most important part of a song, and while you may disagree, please pray that ones I write are God’s words of truth, salvation, and bring all glory to God!
