It’s TIME TO BEGIN.
But where?
Where does the “new” journey begin? I put “new” in quotes because I’ve done this before. I’ve made music in the past but now, it’s different. Maybe it’s not different, just later. But it’s different. How?
It’s different for a few reasons:
1) I haven’t created music for 9 years! Yes, 9 years since I last created music and released an album; We Are the Kingdom, in 2015.
2) Music has changed and I’m not just coming back into the same scene I “left.” All music, and especially hip hop, has transformed in the past 9 years!
3) The plan is to create my own music. BIG task but very doable. Now, I just need to learn the programs that make the music. 🤣

Learning Scripture
On Wednesday nights, my family goes to church. They have a Wednesday night program that my 7-year-old attends. He loves it! They play games, they learn about the Bible, and one thing they do is learn scripture verses. One night, he asked me, “Why do I have to learn all of these verses?” I told him that it’s good for learning scripture so that we know what scripture says. The Bible also teaches us to be ready to give an account for what you believe. Then he asked me something that has stuck with me, “Why don’t you have to learn these verses?” Whoa. He’s right! Why shouldn’t I also be learning these verses?!
So, now, I’m learning scripture! I was suggested an app by Pastor Greg from church, it’s called Fighter Verses. I use it every day learning and reciting scripture.
The latest scripture I learned was 2 Timothy 1:7, “for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.” Amen!
Did You See the Eclipse?
Did you see the eclipse? It was awesome!
This was my quickest attempt at a picture in the totality of the eclipse. I was in such awe that I didn’t really worry about pictures. God’s creation is absolutely beautiful!

How Can You Pray for Me?
Will you pray for me? A few things to pray for are:
1) That I serve God and that I am in step with the Spirit in all I say and do!
2) That I am the best husband and father for my wife and kids.
3) That in the hard work, I am able to understand music, the apps, and the principals and practices within the streams of entertainment. (Software, online, and my to-do list.)
4) That I do not miss God in the every day, day-to-day.
